Egremont Board of Health approves prior minutes and confirms food permit progress. Board Chairman Charles Ogden and member Ellen Maggio, with Director Juliette Haas recording, voted 2-0 to adopt February 12 minutes and confirmed that The Mill owner Terry Moore completed his ServeSafe certification, meeting all food permit requirements. The board is awaiting water sample results from PFAS testing at the landfill at 55 Phillips Road; Director Haas will notify leadership upon receipt.
The board will meet jointly with the Select Board, Human Resources, and the Berkshire County Public Health Alliance on March 10th to discuss succession planning following Director Haas's retirement in November 2026.
