Egremont Board of Health approves December minutes, plans for director's retirement. Chairman Charles Ogden, with board members Dr. William Rose and Ellen Maggio present, voted 3-0 to adopt prior minutes and heard updates on property compliance, food permits, and landfill monitoring wells.
The DeLacy property reinspection cleared all violations; all Egremont restaurants hold 2026 permits except The Old Mill, awaiting ServeSafe certification completion. The Berkshire Public Health Alliance will propose transition services and costs to manage the board's operations when Director Juliette Haas retires in January 2027.
