EGREMONT — The Board of Health advanced a PFAS treatment unit project for Town Hall. Board members Charles Ogden and Dr. William Rose voted 2-0, with Ellen Maggio abstaining, to adopt prior meeting minutes.
The board closed fiscal year 2026 having collected $21,930 in fees and sent a request for quotes to five plumbers for the PFAS installation, with a July 30 deadline. Summer recreational camp inspections included Flying Cloud at April Hill (permit issued), Greenagers Explorer Camp (inspection scheduled), and Catamount Camp (not offering a 2026 program), while food establishment inspections found North Egremont Store passed without violations and identified staffing issues at the Buttonball Inn Restaurant.
