Egremont Deed Records Show 14 Transfers, Most Without Disclosed Prices
The Southern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 14 Egremont property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only four listed a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $70,000 to $825,000, with a median of $528,750 among those four. The period's top transaction was 36 Millard Rd., which sold for $825,000 on Aug. 26. Mount Washington Road saw the most activity, with four separate deed recordings. With price data covering less than a third of recorded transfers, and several deeds involving mortgage or bank entities and family trust transfers, the available data does not support a clear read on overall market direction this period.
