EGREMONT — Green Committee voted to continue $300 Recycling Rules Widget funding and expand its promotion through a new flyer, website presence, and QR code signage. Eighty-two residents responded to a microplastics survey, and the committee agreed to recommend the documentary "Plastic Detox" to interested respondents. The committee discussed potential 2026-2027 themes: "reuse, repurpose, repair and buying less," sustainable clothing, and microplastics, but reached no decision.

The committee also voted to research how other Massachusetts farm communities address glyphosate use, following an Egremont Health Department survey showing only cow manure is currently used on local farms.
