Historical Commission approves prior minutes, plans Knox Trail commemoration.

EGREMONT — The Egremont Historical Commission unanimously approved prior meeting minutes with an amendment documenting DCR discussion on the Jug End property and Van Gilder House, ensuring the Memorandum of Agreement includes EHC involvement in site development and resident public comment mechanisms. Treasurer Rebecca Turner will follow up with DCR on the Van Gilder demolition project and confirm storage capacity for barn artifacts. Co-Chair Francis Nestor has been appointed to the Community Protection Act committee and will attend training.

The Knox Trail 250th-year commemoration is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 10th at the New York and Alford line border.
