EGREMONT — Housing Trust Board advances seasonal community designation for town meeting warrant. Vice-Chairman Doug Mishkin, Secretary Mary Brazie, and members Evan Hardcastle and Russel Becker met in person January 21, while Chairman Richard Stanley, member Judith Goodman, Select Board Chair Lucinda Vermeulen, and Planning Board Chair Mary McGurn joined via Zoom. The Board will vote on a formal recommendation at a future meeting; Planning Board Chair McGurn confirmed recent zoning amendments appear to meet state designation criteria pending technical verification from the state's Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities.
A joint Board-Planning Board meeting is set for January 28 at 8 a.m. to discuss short-term rental zoning bylaws.
