Egremont Housing Trust designates Mishkin to preservation panel, schedules STR bylaws meeting. Vice-Chairman Doug Mishkin was unanimously appointed the board's representative to the Community Preservation Committee. The board agreed to a dedicated joint meeting with the Planning Board on January 28 or 29 at 8 a.m. to draft short-term rental regulations, with Recording Secretary Mary Brazie to poll Planning Board availability.
The town's recent seasonal community designation by the state makes Egremont eligible for approximately $80,000 from a $2 million grant fund, though the board will defer a formal position until after reviewing additional data and consulting with the May town meeting.
