Housing Trust revises short-term rental bylaws ahead of town meeting

Egremont Housing Trust Board advances revised short-term rental bylaws ahead of Select Board review. The board, chaired by Vice-Chairman Doug Mishkin with eight members present in person and via Zoom, approved language modifications requiring at least one trustee or LLC member to be an Egremont resident and excluding properties with outstanding property taxes or code violations. Legal Counsel Jeremiah Pollard will review the cleaned-up bylaws before their presentation to the Select Board on May 19.

The next board meeting is tentatively set for June 8 at 8 a.m. to coordinate messaging ahead of the special town meeting.
