EGREMONT — The Egremont Planning Board unanimously approved a Form A for the Parsons property on July 22, 2026. The application followed the Select Board's exercise of its right of first refusal on a Chapter 61 protected parcel. The Board continued developing its Site Plan Review fee schedule, retaining a three-tier structure ($250 minor, $500 standard, $750 major) for finalization in August.
Stephen Lyle was tasked with drafting the Community Preservation Committee plan while Berkshire Regional Planning Commission planner Brett Roberts prepared the Seasonal Community grant application, due August 28, 2026. The Board directed that short-term rental bylaw work move to a broader ad hoc working group, with formation to be discussed at the Select Board meeting on August 3.
