Planning Board · Meeting of January 21, 2026
EGREMONT — Planning Board approves FY2027 budget framework below $5,000 and outlines zoning strategy for short-term rentals. Chair Mary McGurn led the board--members John Lanterman, Stephen Lyle, and Donna Bersch-Gordon--to consensus that the Board will define STRs in zoning and assign district-by-district permitting, while the Municipal Housing Trust addresses operational regulation through a separate general bylaw. The approved budget includes $600 for two ChatGPT Business seats ($30 monthly each), $1,500 for technical consulting, and $1,500 for public notice costs.
The Board will maintain hybrid Zoom and in-person meeting access and will join the Housing Trust for a joint meeting January 28 at 8:00 AM.
