Egremont Select Board approved a liquor license change for Prospect Operating LLC. The establishment at 50 Prospect Lake Road won permission to convert from two general on premises pouring licenses to a single hotel license following a public hearing before Chair Lucinda Vermeulen and Vice Chair Judith Goodman. In other business, the board postponed indefinitely a police department vacancy and deferred consideration of a Board of Health job description revision.
Citizens Richard Stanley and Chris Mollomo raised short-term rental regulation and affordable housing respectively, leading the board to schedule both topics for its August 3 agenda and to contact the Berkshire Taconic Foundation about potential housing funding.
