Egremont Select Board unanimously approves Sustainable Purchasing Policy and town hall request. The board voted to adopt the environmental procurement policy, required for continued DEP Sustainable Materials Recovery Program participation, which has generated approximately $60,000 in grant funding since 2010. The board also approved GreenRoads homeowners association's May 2 use of Town Hall and voted to accept a joint Community Development Block Grant application with Great Barrington for fiscal year 2027.
Additionally, the board unanimously approved a letter of support for a Nature Conservancy MVP grant application assessing Berkshire County dams, due March 13.
