Egremont Select Board unanimously approves utility pole and two Democratic events. Steven Hayward of National Grid presented a request for a new pole at 15 Mill Road, which the board voted to approve. The Egremont Democratic Committee received unanimous approval for a candidate forum April 12 at 2 p.m. and a caucus February 23 at 6 p.m., both in hybrid format at Town Hall.
Board of Health Director Juliette Haas updated the board on a landfill monitoring project requiring nine thousand dollars to drill two additional bedrock wells and eight thousand dollars annually for testing of five wells for PFAS and other contaminants to meet state requirements.
