Water Commission approves February minutes, addresses past-due accounts.

Water Commission · Meeting of March 6, 2026

EGREMONT — Water Commission addresses three past-due accounts totaling $4,673. Vice-Chair Lucinda Fenn-Vermuelen presided in the absence of Chair Mary Brazie. The commission reviewed delinquent accounts including one that received a shutoff notice and another whose payments were returned; commissioners agreed to wait for shutoff confirmation and coordinate with Will Brinker on form letters, potentially enlisting a constable to serve paperwork.

Water Operator/Clerk Taylor Thompson reported the system operating at 70 percent billing efficiency, meeting state expectations, with $27,314 billed for the period.
