Water Commission · Meeting of February 9, 2026
EGREMONT — Water Commission reviews dam design alternatives with Tighe & Bond engineers. Chair Mary Brazie, Vice-Chair Lucinda Fenn-Vermuelen, and Water Operator Nate Stalker met with Tighe & Bond representatives Daniel Buttrick and Amber Boles, who presented rehabilitation and removal options; the team concluded the current dam configuration may be most viable despite higher state funding availability for removal. Grant Administrator Peg McDonough confirmed water resiliency grant funds will cover master meter replacement and system-wide leak detection by June 30th.
On past due accounts, the Commission approved a payment agreement with Mr. Beebe and plans shutoff notices for five delinquent account holders.
